Welcome to Homebrella Connected Living (“Homebrella”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, content, and any online features operated by Homebrella.
By using this website or contacting us for services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy & Security Policy.

Who We Are
Homebrella Connected Living provides in-home support services, DIY assistance, smart-home installation, safety and accessibility support, and related consulting services. We also operate the DIY PRO Assist service offering.
These Terms apply to use of our website and any digital features we provide.
Homebrella may refer to certain services using descriptive service interface names, including Buddy, to help users understand the nature of assistance being provided.
Definitions
- “Site” means www.homebrella.ca and all related pages.
- “Services” means any assistance, consulting, installation, DIY support, or other services offered by Homebrella.
- “User” or “you” means anyone who visits the Site or contacts us through the Site.

- “On-call Service” means non-emergency assistance provided by Homebrella upon request during normal service hours, subject to availability and scheduling, and does not imply immediate response, emergency services, or 24/7 availability unless expressly agreed in writing.
- “Buddy” refers to a service interface name and helper identity used by Homebrella Connected Living to describe certain categories of in-home support, assistance, and coordination services. Buddy is not a separate legal entity, employee, contractor, or independent service provider.
Services
- Homebrella may use service interface names, including Buddy, for communication, scheduling, and service description purposes. All services are provided by Homebrella Connected Living or by individuals engaged by Homebrella in accordance with applicable laws, insurance requirements.
Payment terms
Payment for services is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits may be required for multi-visit, or speciality, or higher-value engagements and will be communicated in advance. Failure to remit payment when due may result in suspension of services and recovery actions permitted by law.
No Agency / No Employment / No Fiduciary Relationship
References on this Site or in communications to Buddy are for service identification and description purposes only and do not create any agency, partnership, employment, fiduciary, or other legal relationship beyond that expressly set out in these Terms.
Using the Site
You may use this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only and must use it in a manner consistent with all applicable laws.
You agree not to:
- disrupt the Site or its security
- attempt to access restricted areas
- upload harmful code, malware, or spam
- use the Site for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
- copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content without permission
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate others

A binding service agreement exists only when Homebrella confirms scope, pricing, and scheduling in writing.
Payments & Cancellations (If Applicable)
If payments are processed through the Site or via third-party tools:
- payment information is handled securely by our payment processors
- Homebrella does not store credit card numbers
- fees, rates, or minimum service times will be communicated before work begins
- cancellation and rescheduling policies may apply depending on the service type
A separate agreement or work order may apply to specific services.
Privacy & Use of Personal Information
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy & Security Policy.
By using this Site, submitting a form, or engaging with us digitally, you acknowledge and agree to how we collect, use, and protect personal information as described in that Policy.
